Community Guidelines

Last updated: 24 May 2026  ยท  Version 1.0

Swish is a place to create, share, save, and explore helpful guides. These Community Guidelines explain what is and is not allowed on Swish. These guidelines apply to all users, profiles, guides, images, titles, descriptions, search activity, reports, and any other content or behaviour on Swish.

Swish is operated by CINNY. If you need help, want to report an issue, or have a safety concern, contact us at Support@cinny.com.au.

1. Be Helpful, Respectful, and Safe

Swish is designed for useful, inspiring, and creative guides. Users should be able to explore guides without being exposed to abuse, scams, harassment, illegal content, or unsafe material. You must not use Swish to harm, exploit, deceive, threaten, harass, or abuse other people.

2. User-Generated Content

Guides on Swish are created by users. You are responsible for the content you create, upload, publish, save, or share. Only upload content that you own, have permission to use, or are legally allowed to use. Do not upload content that infringes another person's copyright, trade mark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights.

3. Public and Private Guides

Swish may let you keep guides private or publish them publicly. Published guides may be visible to other users and may appear in search, explore, profiles, saved guides, or sharing features. Private guides are intended to be visible only to you, subject to the systems and service providers needed to operate, secure, back up, and support Swish.

If you make a published guide private, delete a guide, or delete your account, Swish may remove that guide from other users' saved guides. However, Swish cannot control content that someone has already copied, screenshotted, cached, or shared outside Swish.

4. No Harassment, Bullying, or Threats

Do not post, create, upload, or share content that targets, abuses, humiliates, threatens, or harasses another person or group. This includes:

5. No Hate or Dehumanising Content

Do not post content that attacks, demeans, excludes, or dehumanises people based on protected characteristics, including:

Do not promote hate groups, hateful symbols, or hateful ideologies.

6. No Sexual Exploitation or Abuse

Swish does not allow sexual exploitation, abuse, or predatory behaviour. Never post, upload, request, share, save, or promote:

We may report serious safety issues to relevant authorities where required or appropriate.

7. Adult or Sexually Explicit Content

Do not use Swish to post pornography, explicit sexual content, or content primarily intended for sexual gratification. Mature educational content may be allowed only where it is lawful, non-exploitative, non-graphic, clearly contextual, and appropriate for the app. We may remove content if we believe it is too explicit, unsafe, or unsuitable for Swish.

8. No Graphic Violence or Gore

Do not post graphic violence, gore, mutilation, torture, or shocking content. Do not glorify, celebrate, encourage, or threaten violence. Content may be removed if it is likely to shock, disturb, threaten, or harm users, even if it is not intended to be abusive.

9. No Self-Harm Encouragement

Do not create, upload, publish, save, search for, or share content that encourages, instructs, glorifies, or promotes:

Supportive recovery-oriented content may be allowed where it is safe, non-graphic, and does not provide harmful instructions.

10. No Dangerous Instructions or Illegal Activity

Do not use Swish to create or share guides that help people commit crimes, cause harm, evade safety systems, or misuse dangerous tools or substances. This includes guides or instructions for:

Educational or safety-focused content may be allowed where it is clearly defensive, lawful, and does not provide actionable instructions for harm or abuse.

11. No Scams, Spam, or Deceptive Behaviour

Do not use Swish to mislead, manipulate, or exploit users. This includes:

12. No Doxxing or Privacy Invasion

Do not post or share another person's private or sensitive information without permission. This includes:

13. Respect Intellectual Property

Do not upload or publish content that you do not have the right to use. This includes copyrighted photos, artwork, screenshots, logos, brand assets, written content, guides, templates, or other materials unless you own them, have permission, or are legally allowed to use them. If you believe content on Swish infringes your rights, contact Support@cinny.com.au with enough information for us to review the issue.

14. Be Careful with Guide Accuracy

Guides can influence what people do in the real world. Do not publish guides that are intentionally misleading, dangerously incomplete, or likely to cause harm. For high-impact topics โ€” such as medical, legal, financial, technical, fitness, travel, safety, or emergency-related topics โ€” be clear about limitations and do not present yourself as a professional unless you are qualified to do so. Swish may remove guides that appear unsafe, deceptive, or likely to cause serious harm.

15. No Impersonation

Do not pretend to be another person, brand, organisation, public figure, creator, or Swish representative. Fan, commentary, or parody accounts must be clear that they are not the person, brand, or organisation they refer to.

16. No Platform Abuse

Do not interfere with Swish, its systems, or other users' accounts. You must not:

17. Reporting Content and Users

If you see content or behaviour that may breach these guidelines, use Swish's reporting tools where available or contact Support@cinny.com.au. When reporting, include enough detail for us to understand the issue, such as the guide, user, image, profile, or behaviour involved. Do not submit false reports in bad faith or use reporting to harass another user.

18. Blocking Users

Swish may provide tools to block users. Blocking may limit how another user can interact with you or your content, depending on the app's features. Blocking does not guarantee that a user will never see content that is public, copied, cached, or shared outside Swish.

19. How Swish Moderates Content

Swish may use user reports, manual review, automated systems, technical controls, and other moderation tools to detect, prevent, or respond to content or behaviour that may breach these guidelines. We may take action at our discretion, including:

We are not required to monitor all content before it is posted.

20. Appeals and Mistakes

Moderation decisions can involve judgment and may sometimes be wrong. If you believe your content or account was actioned by mistake, contact Support@cinny.com.au and include relevant details. We may not reverse a moderation decision if we believe the action was necessary for safety, legal, platform, operational, or community reasons.

21. Repeat or Serious Breaches

Repeated breaches of these guidelines may lead to account suspension or termination. Serious breaches may result in immediate removal of content, account termination, or reporting to relevant authorities without prior warning. Examples of serious breaches include sexual exploitation, threats of violence, doxxing, severe harassment, illegal activity, fraud, malware, or attempts to compromise Swish systems.

22. Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as through Swish, by email, or by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Swish after updated guidelines become effective means you accept the updated guidelines, to the extent permitted by law.
